Soccer Courts: Fast-paced games in a safe environment

At Kübler Sport you will find Soccer Courts in different sizes and variations. Whether it's an octagonal panna court, a mobile street soccer court or a stationary soccer court, you've come to the right place. We also offer additional equipment for the courts, such as lighting, a ceiling net or a basketball attachment.

Planning of mini-pitches & soccer courts

A football court is useful wherever football is played and there is either not much space or the surroundings need to be protected from flying balls. Stationary, permanently installed football courts are ideal for schoolyards, kindergartens and clubs, but a football court also always goes down well on playgrounds in residential areas and leisure and sports facilities. Mobile soccer courts are also ideal for events in public places or for all locations where the court is not in permanent use.
Thanks to a variety of designs and configuration options, mini-pitches and soccer courts can be customised to meet a wide range of needs. This results in a wide range of possible uses that make up a modern sports facility.

Mini-pitches & Soccer Courts from Kübler Sport

Mini-pitches and soccer courts create the perfect link between sport and leisure. Whether sport-specific or multifunctional, permanently installed or transportable for events - we will find the optimum solution for your project.

What are the components of a soccer court?

A football court basically consists of a playing field with two football or football goals, which is surrounded by a perimeter system with an integrated ball fence or ball net. The playing field can be the ground at the respective location, but also a sports ground.

Pitch size

The size of a soccer court is variable and can be adapted to the local conditions, so that mini-pitches can also be created. In most cases, however, the maximum size of the pitch is that of a small pitch (40 m long x 20 m short). Soccer courts for panna soccer are octagonal and often have a diameter of about 5 metres.

Perimeter board system

The construction of the soccer courts and the mini-pitches and thus of the perimeter board systems varies depending on the model, but the boards are usually made of robust encased hard foam panels. In residential areas, noise-absorbing boards are particularly advantageous. A special design with de-escalation corners instead of 90° corners can also be realised. It is possible to use the perimeter board system for advertising space and thus for refinancing.

Access to the small pitch is achieved through access doors, which are optionally barrier-free. Accessible solutions with folding back gates or drive-through gates at the longitudinal border can also be installed on request.

Flooring

Mobile courts do not require any earth foundations or sports floors. The existing surface is used, which can be temporarily covered with artificial turf if required. There are several floor coverings to choose from for the playing surface of permanently installed mini-pitches or soccer courts with foundations*:

  • Artificial turf
  • Synthetic surface/synthetic floor
  • Sand
  • Asphalt
  • Natural grass

For soccer courts, artificial turf with an elastic base layer is the first choice, while cross-sport pitches usually have a synthetic surface with a lining. With sand, the surface can be transformed into a volleyball or beach soccer field. Asphalt is suitable for schoolyards. Natural grass is used when there is to be as little break as possible from the natural surroundings.
* The necessary ground preparation work is usually carried out by a local construction company.

Side net/grid and ceiling net

To protect the surrounding area from flying balls and to enable a flowing game, nets or grids are attached to the mini-pitches. These are located either on the long sides or around the entire pitch. A complete net roofing of the court is also possible without any problems.

Lighting

Lighting on the mini-pitch with LED floodlights can also be added as an option.

Multisport options

Football courts can also be upgraded for other sports: basketball baskets can be mounted on the football or football goals, and even posts for a volleyball facility are possible.

The decisive factor for multifunctional use is the installed sports equipment. The following equipment is possible:

  • Standard football goals or bolt goals (aluminium lattice)
  • Hockey goals
  • Basketball hoops
  • Net posts for volleyball, badminton, football tennis

Differences between regular football and football played in a football court

Football played in a football court differs from regular football in some rules.

Cage Soccer

  • No ball ejection, instead the boards are included in the game
  • There are no offsides or goal kicks
  • Free kicks must always be taken directly
  • Due to the size of the pitch, there are also fewer players on the pitch, and the game is usually played with three field players and a goalkeeper. However, eight more players can take part in the action through on-the-fly substitutions.

Beach Soccer

  • The soccer court is filled with sand
  • is played with four field players and one goalkeeper
  • the playing time is shorter
  • the goalkeeper also picks up the ball with his hand if it has been played back by a team-mate
  • standard situations (e.g. free kick) are subject to a five-second rule

Street Soccer

  • Street soccer can be played without a special floor covering.
  • There are also rules in street soccer, although not very many
  • number of players (officially three field players plus goalkeeper) and fair play
  • Those who play in a soccer court in their free time often play according to their own rules, which are determined on site in the group.

Panna Soccer

  • is played in an octagonal arena
  • two field players compete against each other in duels lasting two minutes
  • they try to score as many goals as possible during this time
  • If a player manages a so-called Panna K.O. by scoring a controlled tunnel (Panna), he wins the game, regardless of the score.
