Quality assurance at Kübler Sport

Our sports equipment is in permanent use in clubs, schools, childcare facilities, in therapy and for home use. Trainers, therapists, teachers, educators and parents are partly responsible for ensuring the safety of the sports equipment used. At Kübler Sport, we see it as our mission to take some of this responsibility off your shoulders through our quality assurance.

Sport, games & fun - but safe!

We see quality assurance as part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR), the responsibility that we as a company want to bring to society. After all, the quality and safety of our products and the associated safety of athletes and children is a matter close to our hearts.

Measures to ensure product quality

We ensure the quality of our products through the following measures:

  • Careful selection of new producers and continuous monitoring of product quality with existing partners.
  • Commitment to compliance with relevant guidelines for the protection of people and the environment.
  • New products undergo an evaluation by our experienced product management team to ensure their workmanship, user-friendliness and functionality.
  • Samples are also subjected to material safety testing to identify potentially harmful material components.
  • Each delivery is visually inspected on arrival to ensure that the products meet the expected standards.
  • Customer feedback is taken seriously and appropriate action is taken to respond appropriately to suggestions or concerns.
Certified Quality

We hold the RAL-GZ 945 quality mark from the RAL Quality Association for Sports Equipment e. V. for the performance areas of sports equipment manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and maintenance. Compliance with its high-quality standards is verified annually by an independent auditor.

Material safety with the XRF spectrometer

Product quality and safety often become apparent very quickly, for example in terms of quality, user-friendliness and, of course, functionality. However, what we as users cannot easily determine is the material safety.

In order to close this gap in quality assurance, we have introduced the mobile X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF spectrometer) into the company. This enables us to detect critical material components such as heavy metals (arsenic, lead, mercury, etc.) directly on site at the incoming goods department. If the device sounds the alarm for goods from new suppliers, the products are not included in our range. Existing goods are tested on a random basis. The limit values for this procedure are based on the toy directive EN 71-3. We carry out the testing for harmful substances with the XRF spectrometer on a voluntary basis; the procedure goes beyond the legal requirements.
