Predecessor skills - Mathematics is increasingly posing problems for children. According to the IGLU study, 20% of children only have mathematical knowledge equivalent to that of second graders by the end of elementary school. These problems often result from deficiencies in predecessor skills in mathematics. A child must acquire basic mathematical competency during preschool years. By specifically training predecessor skills with the Mathematics Kit, a child can acquire the necessary foundation to learn mathematical skills.
