Dance mirrors or sports mirrors are needed in practice rooms in order to be able to control dance steps or gymnastics yourself. With or without a trainer, it is important not only to be corrected by them, but also to observe yourself in the mirror. This is how dancers and athletes get a feeling for how their presentation looks to the outside world: Is the back really straight? Are the dance steps long enough and does the arm position look elegant? Your own feelings do not always correspond to the external impact. The high precision of the execution is extremely important, e.g. in ballet, and can be observed and changed at any time in a dance mirror.

Sports mirror in different versions

There are different sports mirrors depending on the space. Training rooms often have a whole wall of mirrors with the short or long side of the room full of wall mirrors. Long passages, jump combinations, lifting figures and other things can also be examined more closely. In addition to the wall mirrors that are mounted (usually the necessary materials are included), there are adjustable and mobile dance mirrors in different sizes. The sports mirrors are suitable for dance and sports rooms, as well as for therapy facilities.

Multi-part, mobile mirrors usually have a special hinge between the mirror parts, which means that they can be joined together seamlessly when they are opened and thus show a mirror image with almost no joints. For better storage and to protect the mirror surfaces, the outer mirror parts can also be folded up and locked with a padlock. Mobile mirrors usually have swivel castors, which simplify repositioning of the mirror. Appropriate parking brakes help with safe installation.

Dance sport: Safe dance mirrors

High quality dance mirrors for dance schools usually have a safe mirror glass, so-called safety glass, with a mirror thickness of 4-5 mm, which does not splinter if damaged. The safety glazing has a protective film "Mirox Safe", this is a safety film that protects against splintering. For example, they can also be used in children's sports. Mobile, movable mirrors are also suitable for a wide range of uses. Extra-large mirror surfaces provide a continuous, distortion-free mirror image for correcting movement sequences and parking brakes help to set up the sports mirror safely. Thanks to the castors, however, the mirror can also be moved quickly and easily to the right place or room.

There is also the possibility of using light mirrors in a facility. Lightweight mirrors are also wall mirrors, but no mirror glass is used, but a high-quality metallized polyester film. The film is drawn over an aluminum frame, which can be manufactured in individual sizes. The polyester film offers a 100% distortion-free image, exactly like a crystal mirror. The foil makes the mirror super light and unbreakable, and it hardly attracts dust.

Installation of wall mirrors

If a mirror wall is to be created from several segments, a profile rail is recommended as a connecting element. The lower rail is used as a suspension plate and is screwed to the wall, the mirror is then inserted and then the upper rail is placed and also screwed to the wall. The individual mirror elements can thus be lined up seamlessly as a mirror wall and form optimal conditions and an upgrade for every dance and fitness studio, as well as medical facilities. Side panels are usually included in the scope of delivery.
