German Swimming Pass, 2020

The German Swim Pass (DSP) is the official certification of the 3-stage performance requirement for children, teenagers, and adults according to the new DPO starting from January 1st, 2020.

The swim pass (green) provides blank spaces for the pass holder, location, date, examiner, and number, in addition to the described requirements for the Bronze/Silver/Gold swimming badges.

Swimming badges

From January 1st, 2020, there will no longer be a distinction between youth swimming badges and swimming badges. Regardless of age, the Bronze, Silver, and Gold swimming badges are proof of safe swimming.
