Sanctband® Flossband
The terms Flossing or Flossband were known in Germany until recently only to a few athletes and therapists in the powerlifting, weightlifting, and cross-training areas, where athletes wrap or bandage their extremities.
In collaboration with the renowned sports physiotherapist Sven Kruse, we have developed these Flossbands with different resistance levels and 3 different band widths, based on his EASYFLOSSING concept. During Flossing, the approximately 2m long Flossband is tightly wrapped around the body part and joint to be treated, in about 4-7 times the thickness of a medium-sized exercise band.
Flossing accelerates the regeneration of various injuries and releases tissue adhesions. Through various application options, the musculature is put under pressure with the help of the Flossband. Ideally, this is done while the wrapped extremity is in motion. The advantage of this is that different exercises can be performed under compression, relieving the tissue and/or joint. When the Flossband is then released, the congestion is also released and the tissue is flushed.
The band is available in different widths and strengths.

Why are there differences in width and thickness?
Why 4 different band strengths?
The different resistance values allow for the generation of specific application values and the targeted reach of different layers of tissue. Therapy series specifically adapted to intensity are also possible. Additionally, this accommodates the different tolerance limits of patients. Thickness of the floss bands: Green: 1.1 mm; Blue: 1.3 mm; Violet: 1.6 mm; Grey: 1.8 mm.
Why 3 different band widths?
These 4 different band strengths are available not only in the standard width of 5 cm, but also in narrow (2.5 cm) and wide (7.5 cm) versions. This allows for differentiated application on different-sized joints or body parts (hands, feet, knees, elbows, hips, thorax).
