Kübler Sport GmbH has been certified with the “EcoZert” sustainability award, which recognizes our particularly sustainable actions. This certificate was awarded following an in-depth review by the independent Creditreform Rating AG in the ESG areas of environment, social affairs and corporate governance.

Fields of action of our sustainability strategy

Conserving resources

We consistently focus on sustainability in our use of resources. Our company site obtains all of its electricity requirements from 100% renewable energy. In addition, we optimize our energy consumption by using energy-efficient lighting systems and multifunctional devices.

Meticulous, responsible waste separation is also part of our standard to ensure efficient recycling. We are committed to a paperless way of working and promote digital transformation in all departments. For example, our maintenance team creates transparent digital inspection reports. We only send invoices electronically.

Reuse – Reduce – Recycle – Repair

In the production of sustainable sports equipment, the aim is to achieve maximum benefit with minimum negative impact on the environment, economy and society. The proportion of environmentally conscious, sustainable and fairly produced products in our range is constantly increasing and will be further expanded. All our sustainable products can be found quickly and filtered individually:

To the sustainable products

We also rely on robust raw materials and high-quality workmanship for our products. Because the longer the product life, the better it is for the environment. Thanks to our large stock of spare parts, it is also possible to repair a wide range of sports equipment in a resource-saving manner, delaying the need to purchase new equipment.

Environmentally Conscious Shipping in Germany

We are proud that 70 percent of our customers in Germany already choose the option to use used but flawless packaging materials for shipping when placing an online order. Additionally, for shipping within Germany, we exclusively use eco-friendly paper packaging and plastic-free tape. We are continuously working to reduce the packaging from our German suppliers. To ensure climate-neutral delivery in Germany, we use GLS KlimaProtect, which helps us further offset our CO2 emissions and guarantee completely environmentally friendly shipping.

Every tree counts

Kübler Sport is a climate protection partner of PLANT-MY-TREE® and makes an important contribution to climate protection through CO2 compensation by planting trees. According to the motto “Every tree counts”, Kübler Sport contributes to leaving a world worth living in for future generations. In addition to the initial reforestation, PLANT-MY-TREE® has been implementing additional projects for forest conversion and forest protection since 2020 and attaches great importance to high biodiversity. This creates a natural habitat for insects and animals over decades. PLANT-MY-TREE® was successfully certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Rheinland in early 2020.
